Frequently Asked Questions
What is a concierge service? The term concierge by definition is “the keeper of the keys”. With Cascara Concierge, we are personal assistants who takes care of your to-do list, whether it is personal, home, or business needs.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve? We are based in Snoqualmie, WA, and our services cater to the communities spanning the Snoqualmie Valley and the Greater Eastside.
How many hours do I need to book at a time? There is a 2-hour minimum requirement for hourly services. For our packages, we require a 4-hour minimum time block.
What is your cancellation policy? We require a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your service appointment. You may notify us via phone, email, or text. A notification shorter than 24 hours, or no notification, will result in a charge equal to the full amount of time scheduled.
What if my errands or tasks go longer than planned? Don’t worry. Your Concierge is tracking the time to get your tasks and errands done. If the time to complete errands will take longer than anticipated, your Concierge will contact you to see if you would like to continue or save the remainder of tasks for another day. If you choose to move forward, additional time will be charged in 15-minute intervals.
How far will you drive to complete errands or tasks? We run errands at NO EXTRA COST within a 10-mile radius of your home or business. If you need us to go beyond these areas, there is a $0.67 charge per mile.
How do I pay Cascara Concierge? Our services are charged at a recurring or non-recurring rate.
- Non-recurring Hourly Services: Payment is due upon completion of service. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card.
- Non-recurring Project Services: A 50% deposit is required and will be billed to your credit card. Upon project completion, the remaining balance will be charged.
- Recurring Services: We keep a credit card on file for all recurring services. For new clients, you’ll start with a one-month trial period. If you decide to stick with us, that trial month will count as a part of your initial 3-month contract. Services will be charged monthly from the initial service date.
What’s the process if I need you to buy things for me? We ask that you provide funds upfront for any anticipated expenses (i.e. shopping items, dry cleaning, etc.). You may pay by cash or with a credit card.
